A BRIEF OVERVIEW

AFRICAN MARKETING was registered as a company in 1978, after having operated as a partnership for a number of years.

Originally the main focus lay in the bulk catering industry.

With the growing turnovers in this industry the first agencies were soon awarded, and a second leg in the wholesale/retail markets could thus be established.

From here the Hospitality Catering was then targeted, allowing  to focus on three different market segments and AFRICAN MARKETING thus being less viable to negative changes in market situations.

Throughout the years focus was on non-perishable foods only.

The merger with QUALITY PRODUCTS in 2005 opened the way for the sourcing and distribution of perishable products throughout Namibia to all market segments.

Today AFRICAN MARKETING not only distributes products from Namibia and South Africa, but also has close business relationships with various manufacturers in Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland.  

Products are supplied to
the local Catering and Retail markets countrywide with an own fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
